It’s too bad mouth breathers think the Dem party is a unified monolith instead of a big tent party encompassing everyone not full tilt racist fucking nazi. It is also too bad the dnc establishment aren’t taking seriously that we’re in the middle of a coup by the heritage foundation and federalist society funded by technofeudalists and christian death cults. But unless you’re picking up a gun you oughta be voting Dem and primarying incumbents with progressives because third party and protest votes are votes for Trump and maga. But you know that, right? You wouldn’t actively be part of the problem would you?

First, vote Dem, vote your conscience in primaries, push for Ranked Choice Voting, overturning Citizens United (lol like that’s gonna happen) or The Transparent Election Initiative (The Montana Plan), and protest when necessary.

Now that that’s outta the way. Fuck the Democratic party. You’re surprised they “aren’t taking the threat seriously”? They benefit from this same coup, so of course they wouldn’t try to stop it, but just make some slogans and say some AI generated slop with the right buzzwords so the idiots will think they’re on their side. It’s really naive to think the DNC gives a fuck about any of this. They just don’t want it to cause too much chaos for their holdings.

I can’t vote, I’m not American. I would vote Democrat if I could. I vote against the conservatives even if I expect them to win. I’m confused why people read my pessimism as saying don’t vote, you still do what you can even if it’s probably futile. In fact things being bleak are all the more reason to do whatever you can to try to improve the situation

Because American politics have become so extreme that simply expressing that there are problems with a candidate or party that need to be addressed means you actually support the other candidate. Most of the time there is fuck all you can do to convince partisans you’re not a conservative even when you’re criticizing from the left.

Can you tell I love it here?! 😒

Unfortunately, there is no good alternative. I was merely expressing my sorrow at the situation
