Well how about we just call it, Trump’s MAGA party. I just want them to wear his near like an albatross around their neck. As for the rest. Sounds a bit extreme, perhaps a little to facist for my likeing. Anyone can and should be able to form a new political party. What we really want is at least three major parties.
Yes they could always be sued. But people tend to shy away from sueing big companies like google. Seeing someone else win, makes it feel possible. Plus it shows a strategy for winning. Thus increasing the number of people trying for a payday.
Don’t think you can get that from a civil suit. But I don’t disagree.

I wouldn’t go that far. There is a lot of quid pro quo in politics. Not sure which is worse sometimes. Being racist because your racist, or being racist because someone has made it worth it for you to be so.
We need to start calling thr GOP “trump’s party”. That way when he is gone it will remind people of all the “like minded” politicians he put in place, and that they need to go as well.
I am sure that google will bring up that it has a disclaimer about how AI can make mistakes. But really, that’s the equivalent of saying “no offense” before you say something offensive.

I’m not 100% sure. But in general, interstate commerce is the federal governments domain.
And if the company has no assets in the state, what could a state court do if the company didn’t pay? The state court has no jurisdiction outside the state. Now if I was an exec for that company, I wouldn’t take any trips there just to be safe…
This is just another dog and pony show. If the company doesn’t have any offices or assets in utah, then they don’t have to care. Utah can censor it’s own internet if it doesn’t like it.
This law simply has no legs to stand on.
I struggle in my own head on such things. I think it is ridiculous to shame anyone for such things. But I personally dislike armpit hair on a women. Of course I also don’t like it much on me either. But I hate the feeling when it is stubble, and before that it chaffs. So I just trim it down pretty short. Maybe that wouldn’t bother me on the ladies either. But probably would.
