I know of no less than FOUR people with 50 cal sniper rifles at my work place alone. None of them are “security” or military. Its not so cut and dry, and believe it or not, people actually like civilization. Things would be very different actually standing in the ruins of your town or city and having to rebuild. There’d be a lot less snooty mcshoot face and a lot more mutual aid. Thats just what people tend to do when faced with extreme hardship. Thats why society is an emergent property of the human condition, because we don’t favor tearing each other to shreds, we actually favor helping each other.
