Also the 1 m is the length of the spinal chord. Some might not get the significance of the spinal cord and that’s fine but it’s the central canal in the body so there’s that. However i remember reading a paper where they discussed that the meter should be the length of the spine, but they didn’t outright wanna say it, so they searched for a natural circumstances that just so happened to approximate that.
