Ah yeah so this kind of pill comes with a sticker pack. You pick the sticker strip that’s your schedule and put it on the top.

The og pack without a sticker starts on Sunday.

This isn’t the brand in the picture, but illustrates the point.

The reason it’s Tuesday is cause every now and then I forget to get my refil on time and then the next pack starts a day late. (Originally it was Wednesday 😅).

I don’t take them for contraceptive effects but yeah missing pills makes them not work for that effect.

Plus the first time you take them you are supposed to take them a few days after your period starts so it matches your natural cycle.

The round packs let you rotate the day of the week. No stickers.

The database I manage has 3 different week formats in it for reporting periods. Sun-Sat, Fri-Sun and Mon-Sun. We also have 5 different definitions of “year” depending on fiscal year, calendar year, operational year, and the operational years for 3 different large clients, etc.

As I’ve slid into adulthood the wisdom of Douglas Adams has really begun to resonate: “time is an illusion, lunchtime doubley so”
